Currently, Myanmar Intellectual Property Department allows an old trademark that is used in the territory of Myanmar or registered at the Office of Registry of Deeds in Myanmar to re-file during the soft opening period.
If your trademark has been filed during the period of soft opening, you can get the first date of Grand Opening as a filing date of trademark application which is the most important date of trademark registration.
The second step of the soft opening is closed and then the Grand Opening will be followed.
We would like to highlight that some side effects which constitutes during grand opening because of late refiling after the soft opening period as follows:
