Tanzania: Launch of domain names under .tz

The Tanzanian registry announced the availability of domain names under .tz directly. The launch of .tz domain names will be occuring in phases:

• 1st March to 31 May 2022: priority registration period for owners of domains registered at third-level (.co.tz, .org.tz…) before 1st March 2022. 

• 1st June to 30 June 2022: priority registration period for owners of domains registered at third-level (.co.tz, .org.tz…) between 1st March and 31 May 2022.

• 1st July 2022: general availability.

The requirements for .tz domain names are the name as for third-level domains. A local administrative contact is required, which IP Twins may provide.
