Signing of a memorandum of understanding between the INPI and the Monaco Industrial Property Office
The memorandum of understanding signed between the INPI and the Monaco Industrial Property Office this Thursday, March 27, 2025 marks, in particular, the official entry of the DPI into the French-speaking intellectual property alliance, inaugurated on October 2, 2024 on the sidelines of the XNUMXth Francophonie Summit.
Numerous joint projects will thus enable the DPI to align with the objectives of the French-speaking Alliance for Intellectual Property, whether it be harmonizing procedures for processing applications for industrial property titles, pooling resources or contributing to the Alliance's various activities aimed at raising awareness and promoting the use of intellectual property.
During this visit, Pascal Faure had the opportunity to meet with startups established within the MONACOTECH incubator. In this context, he reiterated the importance for these startups of embracing intellectual property issues in order to make it a real lever for growth. This visit also gave rise to discussions with Jean-Pierre Santos, Head of the DPI, who presented the activities and ambitions of the Division, particularly as part of this memorandum of understanding.
