EUIPO Online Workshop: Craft and Industrial Geographical Indications (30 June - 4 July)


In December 2025, the new EU system for Craft and Industrial Geographical Indications (CIGIs) will come into full effect, enabling producers across the EU to begin submitting applications for CIGI registration. The EUIPO is therefore hosting an online workshop to offer technical and practical guidance to CIGI producers and producer groups, aimed at clarifying the new system's requirements. EU Commission tenders for DSM Directive Review

The Commission has launched a call for tenders for a study to support the upcoming review of the Copyright in the Digital Single Market (DSM) Directive. The objective of the study is to assess whether the Directive achieved its objectives, and the results will feed into the Commission's report in line with Article 30(1) of the Directive.
