This is a final reminder that, pursuant to the amended Korean Trademark Act (Act No. 20697), the opposition period will be reduced to 30 days for trademark applications published on or after July 22, 2025.

The existing two-month opposition window will no longer apply to such applications. We strongly recommend reviewing and adjusting your trademark monitoring and filing protocols to reflect this accelerated timeline.
