The @European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) is pleased to announce the launch of the newly redesigned EUIPN website, featuring a fresh look and several key improvements aimed at improving user experience and providing better access to information.
Visitors to the website will also notice significant improvements in navigation and accessibility. The layout has been streamlined to make it easier for users to find information quickly, whether they are accessing the site from a desktop or mobile device.
The website has undergone a complete redesign, giving it a more modern look and feel while aligning fully with the objectives of the EUIPO’s Strategic Plan SP2030, particularly in relation to the European Cooperation Projects (ECPs) and International Cooperation pages. These changes ensure that the website reflects the latest developments in collaboration within the EUIPN community.
The ECP (European Cooperation Projects) page has also undergone a full redesign. The content has been updated in line with SP2030 goals, and the improved layout makes it easier to navigate between different project sections. Users visiting the ECP section will now find a new area about Virtual Communities. This section provides summaries that help users learn more about each community and their activities.
Both the Tools section and the Practices section have also seen exciting updates, in the Practices section a new link to the IP Legislative and Practice Repository has been added, offering users direct access to key documents and legislative resources.
In response to user feedback, the News and Events pages have been merged into a single section, making it easier to stay up to date. One of the standout features is the new free text search function for news. Users have previously expressed a need to search for news related to their specific countries, and this update now allows them to easily find news articles relevant to their interests. In addition, the News & Events section has been improved with new filters, making it easier than ever to navigate and find updates that are important for the user.
With these improvements, the EUIPN website offers a clearer, more accessible, and better-aligned platform to support the work and communication efforts made in the community of the EUIPN.
To ensure a smooth transition, both the old and new websites will run in parallel for a limited time. This will give users time to explore the new site while still being able to access familiar pages on the current platform.
