He spoke about intellectual property as a key driver of growth for startups and creators, and the importance of copyright in the digital landscape of instant sharing and GenAI content.
At the margin of the Web Summit, the EUIPO in partnership with the Portuguese Institute of Industrial Property, hold a side event “Content Creation and IP in the Digital Age” with creators and influencers.
In parallel, the EUIPO, via its stand at the Web Summit, promoted the EUIPO´s flagship initiatives for influencers - namely key programmes, trainings and partnerships with schools and universities, in line with its 2030 Strategic Plan to create a more inclusive IP system for everybody.
Since 2009, Web Summit has become one of the world’s largest technology events, bringing together leaders across business, technology, politics, and culture.
