On November 12, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) published its annual report on global indicators relating to intellectual property.
From this seventeenth edition, we will remember that France comes in eighth position in the top 10 of countries filing the most patent applications abroad (27,976).

France also ranks second, behind Germany, in transport technologies, followed by Italy and Sweden, which, according to WIPO, "reflects the European advantage in this sector."
Another finding: at least three-quarters of the patents in force in France (76,6%) come from non-resident applicants, which confirms the attractiveness of our country.
With regard to trademarks, in France, classes related to services dominate registration applications, exceeding half of the total (51,5%).
