The Ministry of Intellectual Property (MOIP) announced that it is conducting a training program to enhance employee capabilities of utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) from November 4 to5 at the International Intellectual Property Training Institute (IIPTI) in Daejeon.
The training is designed to strengthen the understanding and practical application of AI among MOIP employees in response to the rapid digital transformation and the growing role of AI in the intellectual property policy environment. The training program is offered in two sessions.
The first session on November 4, "GPT Master Course," focuses on generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and explores practical methods to apply language models for information research, document drafting. The second session on November 5, "Practical Use of AI in Excel and PowerPoint," covers practical application of AI tools including AI-driven data analysis automation, report visualization, and presentation development.
Each session is held in a hybrid online/offline format, accommodating approximately 40 on-site participants and 100 online participants to engage in real-time Q&A and practical exercises to learn how to effectively integrate AI technologies to their daily duties and tasks.
Furthermore, in connection with this training =organized for working-level employee, there will be an upcoming “AI Leadership Program” for management-level personnel. Together, these training initiative is expected to serve as a foundation for AI-based innovation in intellectual property administration, spreading AI proficiency across the organization and fostering a culture of innovation at MOIP.
