This initiative is part of a broader dynamic supported by the INPI, with three major objectives:
Strengthen pedagogy, particularly among young audiences, to raise their awareness of intellectual property from an early age.
Act within the framework of the France Anti-Counterfeiting program, a public interest device dedicated to prevention and awareness of the risks associated with counterfeit products.
Extend the December 2024 campaign, led by the CNAC, the INPI and the UNIFAB, with the broadcast of a spot on TF1+ aimed at alerting consumers to the dangers of counterfeiting: health risks, security threats, environmental damage, etc.
Counterfeiting is not a trivial act. It fuels illicit trafficking, endangers consumers, destroys jobs, and stifles innovation. More than ever, it is essential to better inform, better prevent, and better protect.
The video highlights the testimonies of personalities mobilized daily in the fight against counterfeitingEach of them brings their perspective and expertise to the economic, health and environmental issues linked to this phenomenon:
Catherine Dumas, senator, and Christophe Blanchet, MP, co-presidents of the National Anti-Counterfeiting Committee (CNAC)
Julie Zerbib, National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI)
Valerie Brochet, General Directorate of Customs and Indirect Taxes (DGDDI)
Delphine Sarfati-Sobreira, Manufacturers' Union (UNIFAB)
Their interventions highlight the need for collective action to better protect consumers and creators against the dangers of counterfeiting.
