Citizens across Europe can now access legal online content more easily than ever. The Agorateka network has reached full coverage in all 27 EU Member States, marking the culmination of a decade-long effort to guide users towards trusted digital content. The milestone follows Luxembourg’s accession in April 2026, with the launch of its national portal, MyAgorateka.lu.
The Luxembourg portal provides access to music, films, series and audiovisual works, as well as eBooks, further strengthening the network’s offer and reinforcing its role as a gateway to legal content online.

Ten years ago, Agorateka was established to respond to the growing complexity of the digital environment and the need for clearer pathways to legitimate sources. Since then, EU Member States have worked together to connect national portals and facilitate easier access for citizens, building a coordinated European approach to promoting lawful content.

With all Member States now on board, Agorateka enters a new phase, consolidating its role in improving the visibility of legal offers and supporting informed choices by users across the EU. The initiative stands as a concrete example of cooperation within the EU Intellectual Property Network, contributing to a more transparent, accessible and trusted digital landscape.

This milestone supports the objectives of the Strategic Plan 2030, notably by enhancing awareness and education on intellectual property, improving access to the IP system and strengthening trust and respect for IP.
