Can you briefly introduce your start-up and its flagship service? Amaury Dupas WheelMove is a French company whose mission is to make autonomy and freedom of movement accessible to all. Its first product – Ze One – is a medical assistance device that attaches in seconds to any manual wheelchair (less than 9 kg, up to 25 km range, 5 speeds up to 10 km/h, and a 6° incline capability).

Where rough terrain remains inaccessible to conventional wheelchairs (grass, cobblestones, paths, gravel…), Ze One provides a simple, affordable and immediately adaptable solution by transforming the everyday wheelchair into a true all-terrain wheelchair.

Why are you participating in the INPI & WIPO x HEC Challenge + Pitch Contest? AD : Participating in the INPI, WIPO and HEC Paris Pitch Contest at VivaTech is a unique opportunity to highlight an innovation with a strong societal impact, at the heart of Europe's largest tech show! WheelMove has already been awarded Best of CES (in Las Vegas) in the Travel category, in January 2026.

This international recognition validates our approach, and VivaTech is the ideal stage to take a new step in visibility. It is also an opportunity to exchange ideas with an ecosystem of investors, industrial partners and stakeholders in the Medtech who share our ambitions, as we finalize our €1,5 million Seed fundraising planned for the third quarter of 2026.

AD Our main challenge in 2026 is to deliver Ze One to our first customers by this summer, with over 30 firm orders, while also finalizing our CE medical device certification, essential for large-scale commercialization. In parallel, we are conducting our Seed funding round to finance industrialization, regulatory certification, and commercial development in Europe.

Managing these three projects simultaneously – delivery, certification, financing – with a growing team: that's our challenge for the year!

What solutions does the INPI offer you? AD : The INPI supports us in protecting our technical innovations, a key element to reassure our investors and secure our competitive advantage, as well as in our trademark filings. The Institute has enabled us to lay an initial footprint in industrial property, thus establishing a solid foundation to confidently approach our future international development, particularly in Europe, and then in the United States.

This is all the more strategic as Ze One is currently the only solution on the market to combine all-terrain accessibility, quick installation and transportability: a combination that we absolutely must protect to preserve our position.
