Recently, the 7th Qingdao Multinationals Summit was held. Zhang Zhicheng, Deputy Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), attended the opening ceremony of the summit and delivered a keynote speech at the main forum, and together with Wang Guiying, Vice Governor of the People's Government of Shandong Province, delivered remarks at the closed-door meeting on intellectual property policy.

Zhang Zhicheng stated that, focusing on strengthening intellectual property protection for foreign-invested enterprises, CNIPA has continuously strengthened top-level design, smoothed channels for communication and exchange, and enhanced the effectiveness of protection, achieving good results. 2026 is the opening year of the "15th Five-Year Plan," and China will, with higher standards, more practical measures and better services, build a strong intellectual property protection system, strengthen intellectual property enforcement and protection, and create a favorable environment for the development of foreign-invested enterprises in China.

At the closed-door policy meeting, officials of the relevant CNIPA departments introduced intellectual property protection policies and had in-depth exchanges with nearly 30 foreign-invested enterprises on related issues.
