To further promote cooperation between China and Poland in the field of intellectual property and to provide enterprises of both countries with continuous and efficient intellectual property services, the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) and the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland have agreed through consultation to extend the "China-Poland Liaison Officer Mechanism" for five years, from July 8, 2026 to July 7, 2031.

The two offices will each continue to designate an intellectual property liaison officer to provide information on the protection of intellectual property (inventions, trademarks, industrial designs and utility models) for Chinese enterprises doing business in Poland and Polish enterprises doing business in China, respectively.

During the operation of the liaison officer mechanism, Chinese enterprises with inquiries relating to inventions, trademarks, industrial designs and utility models may contact the intellectual property liaison officer of the China National Intellectual Property Administration as follows:
