The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) is pleased to announce that trade mark legislation and examination guidelines from the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office (HIPO) are now available in the IP Legislative and Practice Repository.

This European Union Intellectual Property Network (EUIPN) Repository provides access to legislation and guidelines for examination of trade marks from IP offices across the EU. With the addition of Hungary, the IP Repository now contains trade mark information from 18 EU IP offices with more offices expected to join in the future.

The Repository will soon also be enhanced with EUIPO Design guidelines and design legislation from across the EU, following the design legislative reform. Additionally, it includes the Common Practices agreed by all intellectual property offices and allows users to compare national examination Guidelines. Together, the reference tool provides a unique source for researching EU trade mark and design legislation, guidelines and common practices.
