Announcement of the China National Intellectual Property Administration

In accordance with the Measures for the Protection of Geographical Indication Products, 326 enterprises producing 120 products — including Changli wine, Laishui ma walnut (Yesanpo ma walnut), Luquan Chinese toon, Shimen walnut, Linjin Jiangshi pomegranate, Bayannur Erlangshan white cashmere goat, Bayannur Hetao wolfberry, Bayannur Hetao cistanche, Genhe kohlrabi, Hetao Bamei mutton sheep, Hetao Yellow River carp, Hetao sunflower, Hulunbuir rapeseed, Morin Dawa soybean, Wuchang rice, Anji white tea, Qingyuan shiitake mushroom, Gannan navel orange, Jingdezhen porcelain, Yantai apple, Anhua dark tea, Fenghuang Dancong tea, Guojiao 1573, Luzhou Laojiao Tequ, Pu'er tea, Wenshan notoginseng, Hami melon, Hotan jujube, Korla fragrant pear, Turpan raisin and Hanzhong Xianhao — have respectively filed applications with the intellectual property administrative departments in the localities where the products are produced for the use of the special sign for geographical indications. After examination by the relevant provincial intellectual property administrative departments and examination and determination by the China National Intellectual Property Administration, registration is hereby granted. From the date of this announcement, the above enterprises are approved to use the special sign for geographical indications on the geographical indication products they produce and to obtain protection as geographical indication products.
