To support the implementation on 30 October 2026 of the newly revised Implementing Regulations of the Regulations on the Protection of Layout Designs of Integrated Circuits (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Implementing Regulations’) and the Guidelines for Examination and Administrative Adjudication of Integrated Circuit Layout Designs (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Guidelines’), the China National Intellectual Property Administration has decided to make corresponding revisions to the contents of request forms for integrated circuit layout designs.

The revised forms will take effect at the same time as the Implementing Regulations and the Guidelines, and the corresponding previous forms will be abolished simultaneously.

Parties may consult and download the newly revised forms from the ‘Form Downloads’ section under ‘Government Services’ on the website of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (http://www.cnipa.gov.cn).
