Pursuant to the Measures for the Administration of National Geographical Indication Product Protection Demonstration Zones (Trial) (CNIPA Office Protection Circular [2021] No. 4) and the CNIPA Office Notice on Acceptance and Inspection of National Geographical Indication Protection Demonstration Zone Construction (CNIPA Office Letter Protection [2026] No. 297), and following self-inspection upon acceptance, provincial acceptance assessment and comprehensive evaluation, it is proposed to approve the establishment of 29 national geographical indication protection demonstration zones, including Chadian Muscat grapes (see annex).

The list is hereby published for public comment from 27 October to 2 November 2026. Objections may be submitted to CNIPA during this period by telephone, fax or email. Materials submitted in the name of an organization must bear the organization’s seal; individuals must provide or sign their real name and a contact telephone number.
